Vad ni än gör - boka inte lägenhet med Wimdu!!
Vi bokade en lägenhet men fick en helt annan när vi kom till Warszawa. Vi klagade direkt till P&O Apartments där vi enligt Wimdus bokning skulle hämta nyckeln. De lovade oss rabatt men den har uteblivit och nu är det ingen som tar på sig ansvaret.
Whatever you do - do not book an apartment with Wimdu !!
We booked an apartment but got a different one when we arrived in Warsaw. We complained directly to P & O Apartments where, according to Wimdus, we were to pick up the key. They promised us a discount but it has been lost and now nobody takes responsibility.

great apartment lived up to expectations. The area is nice although a bit far from the center, but public transport makes it easy.
Die Wohnung entsprach nicht der Beschreibung ("Die Adresse Ihrer Unterkunft lautet Chmielna 30, 00-801 Warszawa, Polen.") Dort war sie auch auf der Karte verzeichnet. Das war für mich auch entscheidend, weil sie damit um die Ecke meines Veranstaltungsortes lag. Zudem läge sie dort in einem wirklich schönen Viertel, an der Fußgängerzone mit vielen Bars und Restaurants. Tatsächlich liegt sie Chmielna 106b, wo sie inzwischen auch auf der Karte verzeichnet wird. Das ist immer noch zentral, bedeutete aber, dass ich vom Büro in der 12 Miodowa Street nicht ca. 20, sondern ca. 40 Minuten und auch zu meinem Veranstaltungsort etwa 20 Minuten länger unterwegs war. Vor allem aber liegt sie damit westlich der ul. Jana Pawla II und damit in einem ziemlich heruntergekommenen Viertel, völlig ohne Kneipen oder Restaurants, dafür abends mit aggressiv grölenden Betrunkenen. Außerdem behauptete man, es habe Schwierigkeiten mit dem letzten Mieter gegeben, man könne mir deswegen nur eine andere, identische Wohnung im selben Haus anbieten. Die Fotografien betreffen jedenfalls eine moderner ausgestattete Wohnung und müssen mit einem extremen Weitwinkelobjektiv aufgenommen worden sein. In meiner Wohnung passte man zwischen Fußende des Bettes und Wand nur hindurch, um zum Fenster zu gehen, wenn man sich seitlich gedreht hat.
The appartment wasn't the one of the description ("Die Adresse Ihrer Unterkunft lautet Chmielna 30, 00-801 Warszawa, Polen."), where it was located in the map as well. This was importend for me because it was supposed to be close to the location of the event I was joining. Also this would have been a very nice surrounding with lots of bars and restaurants. In fact the appartment is Chmielna 106b, where it is indicated on the map in the meantime. This is still quite close to the city center but meant that I had to walk about 40 min. instead of 20 min. from the key pick up in 12 Miodowa Street. Also I had to walk about 20 min more to and from the location of my event in these days. Even worse this is quite a bad surounding, dirty, without any bars but drunken people in the evening.
7 ladies, 60 yrs +, lived in the apartment for one week. We are very satisfied with its location and the nearness to the bakery shop and the butcher close to our entrance.They supplied us with good products for our breakfast.
It was a little more than 10 minutes walk to the Old Town.
The apartment is well equipped, but we missed an extra towel per person when we stayed as long as one week. The service of your office in Miodowa street was very good with helpful personell assisting us.
Very good apartment in secured building. Next to sluzew metro station. you don't need to rent a car. You can buy almost everything in small markets around. we enjoyed very much our vacation in warsaw. But you have to check the arrival time. The company is placed near the old town, far from the apartment and they will give you the key there as written (1600). Also, you have to bring everything needed to operate the washing machine and dishwasher. The dishwasher is leaking. The temperature is warm in september. I guess its hot there during summer. The kitchen is almost empty, you have to bring everything.
